Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026
This policy applies to micromax-group.co.uk and its customer support portal (the “Platform”), operated by MICROMAX MACHINERY GROUP IRELAND LTD. It forms part of our Website and Customer Portal Terms.
1. Permitted use
You may use the public website for lawful business information and enquiries. Invited portal users may use it only for the legitimate operation and support of machines belonging to the customer organisation that authorised their access.
2. Account security and access
You must not:
- share accounts, passwords or invitation links, impersonate another person, or provide false account information;
- access or attempt to access another customer's, user's or staff member's records;
- probe, scan, test or bypass authentication, permissions, rate limits or other security controls;
- use automated means to scrape, harvest or make excessive requests to the Platform; or
- interfere with, overload, reverse engineer or disrupt the Platform, its server, database, file storage or connected services.
3. Submitted content and files
Enquiries, support descriptions, troubleshooting answers, images, videos and other uploads must be relevant, accurate and lawful. You must not submit:
- malware, executable code, corrupted files or content intended to compromise a system;
- material you do not have the right to use, including another person's confidential information or intellectual property;
- unnecessary personal data, passwords, payment-card details or special-category personal data;
- illegal, fraudulent, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene or abusive content; or
- unsolicited advertising, bulk messages or spam.
4. Machinery safety
Do not use the Platform to instruct an untrained or unauthorised person to operate, open, repair or bypass a safety feature on machinery. Do not upload or follow instructions that conflict with a machine manual, warning, site procedure or applicable law. Stop and seek qualified assistance where a troubleshooting step may be unsafe or is outside your competence.
5. Monitoring and enforcement
We may investigate suspected misuse and preserve or disclose relevant information where reasonably necessary to protect users and systems, enforce our terms, or comply with law. We may remove content and restrict, suspend or terminate access. Serious or unlawful misuse may be reported to the affected organisation, service providers or appropriate authorities.
6. Reporting concerns
Report suspected account compromise, unauthorised access, unsafe content or security issues promptly to rob@micromax-group.co.uk. Do not publicly disclose a vulnerability before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address it.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the Platform or security requirements change. The revision date above identifies the current version.
