Website and Customer Portal Terms
Last updated: 8 August 2026
These terms apply to micromax-group.co.uk, including its customer support portal (together, the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by MICROMAX MACHINERY GROUP IRELAND LTD (“Micromax”, “we”, “us”), Unit A6, 10 Sanda Road, Whitehouse, Newtownabbey, Co. Antrim, BT37 9UB.
By using the Platform, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
1. What the Platform provides
The public website provides product, service and business information and lets users send enquiries, request quotations and subscribe to updates. Invited customer users can use the portal to view machines, manuals and selected service history; follow troubleshooting guides; submit service or breakdown requests and attachments; and view requests and appointments linked to their organisation.
2. Separate commercial agreements
The Platform does not itself complete an online purchase. Product supply, installation, warranty, maintenance and engineering services are governed by the applicable quotation, order, service agreement or other written commercial terms. If those terms conflict with these terms on a commercial service, the applicable commercial terms take priority. Website descriptions, availability and indicative information are not binding offers.
3. Accounts and organisation access
- Portal access is by invitation and is limited to authorised users of a customer organisation.
- You must provide accurate information, choose a strong password, keep credentials and invitation links confidential, and not share an individual account.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
- You must promptly tell us if a user leaves your organisation, no longer needs access, or if you suspect compromise.
- Information in the portal may be visible to other authorised users linked to the same customer organisation.
We may reject, suspend or close an account to protect the Platform, comply with law, address a breach, or where the associated customer relationship ends.
4. Support requests, appointments and uploads
A submitted service or breakdown request is a request for review, not a confirmed engineer appointment or guarantee of response time. An appointment is confirmed only when Micromax confirms its date, time and engineer. Availability and any charges remain subject to the relevant commercial agreement.
You retain ownership of files and information you submit. You give us permission to store, copy, review and share them with relevant staff, engineers and service providers as needed to operate the Platform and deliver support. You must have the right to submit them, ensure they are accurate and relevant, and avoid unnecessary personal or confidential information.
5. Machinery and troubleshooting safety
Portal guides and website content are general support information and do not replace the machine manual, site risk assessment, trained judgement, lock-out procedures or applicable health and safety rules. Only competent and authorised people should inspect or operate machinery. Stop work, isolate equipment where safe to do so, and seek qualified help if a warning, fault or unsafe condition exists. Do not attempt a step beyond your training or authorisation. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.
6. Acceptable use
You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not access another organisation's records, probe or bypass security, upload malicious or unlawful material, scrape the Platform, or interfere with its operation.
7. Intellectual property
The Platform and its text, design, software, branding, images and support content are owned by or licensed to Micromax and protected by intellectual property law. We grant authorised users a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Platform and download documents made available to their organisation for internal operation and support of relevant machines. No other copying, modification, publication, resale or commercial exploitation is permitted without written permission.
8. Availability and accuracy
We take reasonable care in operating the Platform but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available access. We may maintain, change, suspend or withdraw features and correct records. Tell us if customer, machine, warranty, service or appointment information appears incorrect. Third-party links are provided for convenience and are not controlled by us.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss caused by reliance on general website or troubleshooting information contrary to section 5, unauthorised use of credentials, third-party sites, or events outside our reasonable control. Any liability arising from purchased machinery or services is governed by the applicable commercial terms.
10. Privacy, communications and cookies
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may send operational emails needed to administer accounts, requests and appointments. Our Cookie Policy explains the technologies used and how to manage consent.
11. Changes and general terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Platform, law or security requirements. Material changes will be brought to portal users' attention where reasonably practicable. If any provision is unenforceable, the others remain effective. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. No person other than you and Micromax has a right to enforce these terms.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms and disputes relating to the Platform are governed by the law applicable in the part of the United Kingdom in which Micromax is established, unless mandatory law or an applicable commercial agreement requires otherwise. The relevant courts will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have.
